About Go Ask Anyone!®

Go Ask Anyone, Inc. was founded in 2003, by Maura Cassidy.  Maura had been looking for a new direction in her career when she happened to watch an Oprah Winfrey show in late April.  The show was about fathers and their teenagers and the problems they have communicating.  What came as a spark of inspiration was the idea for the first deck of conversation cards called Go Ask Your Father!™.  The questions are based largely on those Maura wished she had asked her own mother before she passed away suddenly in 2000.

Our hopes are that these cards will spark some interesting, enlightening and entertaining conversations between family, friends or anyone you meet on the road of life!

A portion of our profits will be donated to non-profits. Non-profits to be included in our donation program will be ones that concentrate on improving children's lives, encouraging stronger families, bringing the arts to communities, and in support of senior citizens in communities. Please contact Maura at maura@goaskanyone.com if there is a non-profit you would like to suggest.

Destiny Dice
When Maura attended her first gift industry trade show, fate would have it that her booth was across from Chelsie and Bonnie of Destiny Dice! They were incredibly helpful and gave Maura great tips on everything from trade show booth design to running a small business!

Sparkle Sisters Bonnie C and I met years ago and both have started our own businesses about the same time. She's been a great source of ideas and inspirations over the years!

Scout Dog Studios Jen and I met at The Gift Fair in Atlanta! I love her dogs' faces and really cute cards!

HobNob Press I met Mary Carter at the San Francisco Gift Fair! Her line of cards are really cute!

Paper Russells is an adorable line of greeting cards, prints, magnets and such of dogs! I met Myunghye at The San Francisco Gift Fair! We had a lot in common having both left corporate america for our own small businesses.

Rita Golden Gelman I first heard about Rita through a friend who recommended I read her book Tales of a Femalel Nomad. It is a terrific book about a woman who gives up all worldly possessions and takes to the road travelling around the globe. Her account of her years living in such places as Mexico, Bali and New Zealand struck a cord with me. I hope you read her boook and enjoy her stories as much as I did.

Another Girl at Play is a terrific resource for creative women to share and learn about running your own business, finding inspiration and sharing the struggles of making a living at being creative!

"I met Sue Blaney, author of Please Stop the Rollercoaster! How Parents of Teenagers Can Smooth Out the Ride, at BookExpo in Chicago. We have a wonderful discussion about the value of keeping the lines of communication open between parents and teenagers. Sue is a wonderful woman and you might find her book interesting." - Maura Cassidy
